Accumade's revolutionary new process not only allows us to identify and mark each shaft for its Neutral Bend Point, but measure its propensity to bend. (Precise load required to bend the shaft 4 inches) When you send us quantities of shaft of 50 or more, we are able to group those shafts into matched sets of your desired quantity(7,8,9..) Completely eliminating the need for Frequency Matching. Test for yourself the time saving cost benefits of pre-flex matched shafts. Each shaft is marked with an identical sticker to the right
Sub-Flexing:
Through Flex-Matching, Accumade has discovered a tremendous parallel benefit. The ability to define the exact flex of a shaft and relate it to a golfers swing speed. Today, sets are generalized to cover 10 mph swing speed differences within standard flexes, (L, A, R, S, X). Imagine if you could fine tune that to a golfer who swings between 70-73 mph or 90-93 mph, or someone who wants something a little stiffer than regular, but not quite a stiff? Accumade give a club builder that ability. Shafts of any manufacturer have tolerances when they are created, these tolerances produce many shafts that are stiffer or softer than they were intended. While most manufacturers consider this a production flaw, we consider this a production benefit. Why? Since golfers swing and different swing speeds, not everyone can play a Regular or Stiff golf shaft. However, they are forced into accepting one of those classifications. Accumade now give Club Builders and Golfers the ability to match sets to the golfers swing speed.
The higher the flex weight, the stiffer the shaft within the defind flex (>3000+ grams). Likewise, the lower the flex weight, the softer the flex (<2850 grams).

Flex Weight Matching vs Frequency Matching:
Frequency was a tremendous first step in measuring the general natural flex of a shaft(A,L,R,S,X). However, being that CPM is nothing more than a measure of diminishing oscilation, it was never really meant to determine the true flex of a shaft. Frequeny Matching could never show a shafts Neutral Bend Position(spine).
Flex Weight matching truely shows the flex of a shaft when it is bent to a consistent deflection. From that, each shaft can be further measured for its flex weight at the Neutral Bend Point. (Required load to deflect shaft a specific distance) With quantities of 50 or more, we can match your shafts to flex weight matched sets based on that flex measurement.
